In this episode of the Grow Clinton Podcast, hosts Andy and Jenny welcome the remarkable Debi Durham, the dynamic director of the Iowa Economic Development Authority and Iowa Finance Authority.

Taking charge of the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) in 2011, she has turned it into a vibrant public-private partnership. Under her visionary leadership, the agency has successfully attracted billion-dollar economic development projects and has been a key player in enhancing trade and investment opportunities for the state.

With a keen emphasis on building coalitions, Debi has supported new ventures and strengthened Iowa’s industries and communities. Prior to her impactful role at IEDA, she was the president of the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce, where she made significant contributions.

Grow Clinton has enjoyed a fruitful collaboration with Debi's team over the years, providing invaluable support to a multitude of regional businesses through state and local incentives, community grants, and initiatives designed to elevate Clinton's placemaking and tourism efforts.

As Debi looks forward to her retirement in January 2026, her 15 years of tireless dedication will be profoundly felt by everyone at Grow Clinton and throughout the region. Her enthusiasm, positive spirit, and innovative strategies in community and economic development have left an indelible legacy.
